- What looks missing, vague or assumed
- Whether it is over-built or under-scoped for the outcome
- Hidden dependencies and who is responsible for what
- Whether the timeline is realistic
- Where change orders are likely to appear later
- Whether there is a simpler way to get the same result
- The questions we would ask the vendor before approving it
What this is not
- Legal review of contract terms; take those to a lawyer
- A judgement on whether the vendor is honest
- A guarantee about how the vendor will perform
