Scope Check

Before you approve the project, we review what's included, what's missing and what needs clarifying.

What we look at

  • Whether the scope actually solves the problem you described
  • What looks missing, vague or assumed
  • Whether it is over-built or under-scoped for the outcome
  • Hidden dependencies and who is responsible for what
  • Whether the timeline is realistic
  • Where change orders are likely to appear later
  • Whether there is a simpler way to get the same result
  • The questions we would ask the vendor before approving it

What this is not

  • Legal review of contract terms; take those to a lawyer
  • A judgement on whether the vendor is honest
  • A guarantee about how the vendor will perform

What we’ll ask you for

  • Paste the scope or proposal
  • What is the project meant to achieve?
  • Anything specific worrying you?
